Fall Lip Products For Darker Skin

Now that fall is here in full swing, I am pulling out some of my darker lip colors. As someone with darker skin and more pigmentated lips, finding lipsticks has sometimes been a struggle. Here are my favorite lip colors for fall. Most of the them are high end brands too.

Merit-Signature Lip

My first recommendation is the Signature Lip by Merit. This lipstick is lightweight with a satin finish. The color I have been enjoying is called Fashion. It is a beautiful berry color. I love these types of rich colors for autumn, and as the day goes on this one fades nicely!

Charlotte Tilbury-Pillowtalk

Another recommendation is Pillow Talk Medium. This is the darker color for the regular Pillow Talk. It is super pretty and in my opinion long lasting, too. You don’t have to use a lipliner with this one. I will note to stay away from the mini lipstick version of this one as the lipstick bullet breaks easily.

Charlotte Tilbury-Matte Revolution

This Matte Revolution one is slightly more matte then the Pillowtalk lipsticks. This one is long lasting and has more brown undertones whereas the Pillowtalk Medium has more pink undertones to it.

Pat McGrath-Matte Trance

This is the most matte of my recommendation so far. It dries down to a powdery finish. It is still comfortable and really long lasting especially if you pair a lip liner with it. The color I prefer is called Omi. It is a beautiful mid tone rose and is flattering on many skin tones.

Persona Lipliners

These lipliners are creamy but long lasting. They pair well with the lipsticks that I mentioned above. Sometimes I just wear these lipliners on their own. My two favorite colors are 90210 and Rosewood. The color 90210 is a beautiful deep brick colors. This pairs wonderfully with the Pat McGrath lipstick (Omi) that I just mentioned. Rosewood is a warm nude and pairs well with other nude colors in your lip collection. Lastly, to note while these lipliners aren’t drug store they are only $14. Persona can be purchased on their website or at Ulta.com.

I hope this list helps you pick out some new fall lipstick colors especially if your have a darker skin tone. Either way it is always fun to try a new, darker lipstick as the season changes to fall. I hope your week is a lovely one!
